Deepest condolences to WWE Superstar Tonga Loa

WWE SmackDown Superstar Tonga Loa recently faced a personal loss. His beloved pet passed away.

The MFT member may be a bad guy on-screen, but he is known to be a huge animal lover in real life. He had been pictured with his dog on social media many times.

A little while ago, Tonga took to his official Instagram handle to share several photos of his late furry friend, Samson. In the caption, Haku’s son expressed gratitude to his dog for creating wonderful memories with his family and giving them unconditional love.

“What a wonderful time we had together. Thank you Samson for being part of our family and for providing us unconditional love each and every day. Until next time baby boy 🙏🏽❤🙏🏽.”

Tonga Loa missed WWE RAW at Madison Square Garden

Tonga Loa has been a regular fixture on SmackDown along with his fellow MFT stablemates.

However, their leader, Solo Sikoa, returned during the November 17, 2025, edition of WWE RAW. He faced a returning Dolph Ziggler in the opening round of the Last Time is Now Tournament. The Street Champion didn’t come to the flagship show alone and had Talla Tonga by his side.

In fact, Tama Tonga was spotted in New York City, but t make his presence felt on the show. JC Mateo and Tonga Loa were also nowhere to be seen. Regardless, Solo Sikoa managed to defeat The Showoff without needing help from the 6’8″ monster.

The group has been running roughshod on SmackDown over the last couple of months. MFT’s dominance will be put to the test when they face Shinsuke Nakamura, Sami Zayn, Rey Fenix, and the Motor City Machine Guns in a five-on-five traditional Survivor Series elimination match on the go-home episode of WWE SmackDown before the PLE on November 29.
