Dominik Mysterio’s WWE Intercontinental Championship reign officially concluded after 204 days at the hands of John Cena on the latest episode of Monday Night RAW. The show emanated from Cena’s hometown, Boston.

“Dirty” Dom was riding a massive success as the Intercontinental Champion after winning the gold at WrestleMania 41. He was a workhorse titleholder, defending his championship against many top challengers like AJ Styles, Rusev, and Penta.

Following his sudden loss to the 17-time world champion, The Judgment Day member could shockingly quit WWE as part of a storyline. “Dirty” Dom has constantly been on the road, taking on prominent names in the sports entertainment juggernaut and AAA. He needs a break from his hectic schedule, and the creative team could

 book an angle around it.

A frustrated Dominik could leave WWE and focus on his AAA run. During his hiatus, the RAW Superstar could berate World Wrestling Entertainment while appearing on AAA shows. That said, the angle proposed above is speculative, and it remains to be seen what lies ahead for the AAA Mega Champion.

Dominik Mysterio’s WWE girlfriend praised him

The Greatest Mysterio of All Time has been in an on-screen relationship with former Women’s World Champion Liv Morgan since SummerSlam 2024. Together, the duo has dominated the RAW roster, winning multiple titles.

However, the couple has not been seen together for months, as Morgan is sidelined due to a real-life shoulder injury. Morgan was also asked to pick a WWE Superstar whom she thought could take down The Demogorgon, a supernatural character from the series.

The Miracle Kid, without hesitation, picked her on-screen boyfriend “Dirty” Dom to beat The Demogorgon. She claimed that The King of Luchadors could “do anything.”
