The show in Atlanta was meant to celebrate AJ Styles. Throughout the show, there were nods to Styles’ past. Former TNA rivals like Abyss and Frankie Kazarian were shown.
When Styles came to the ring for the final segment, the crowd gave him a huge ovation. Holding back tears, he talked about his career, from TNA to Japan to WWE, and the friendships he built along the way.

But then he shared something more personal. Styles admitted that while he achieved almost everything in wrestling, he wasn’t always able to be there as a full-time father.
“I’ve literally done almost everything. Almost. I can tell you this, the one thing that I haven’t done is to be a full-time father. And you’ve heard this before. I’ve missed birthdays, I’ve missed anniversaries, I’ve missed games, I’ve missed…you name it, I’ve missed it all. And that’s tough,” Styles said while watching his kids in the crowd.
He called his wife his “biggest flex” and thanked her for keeping everything together at home while he was on the road. “In front of God and everybody in Atlanta, Georgia, my biggest flex is having the best wife in the world,” Styles said.

Styles also talked about how the end of the Royal Rumble felt special as he debuted in WWE at the event and exited during the same PLE a decade later. He explained that he didn’t leave his gloves in the ring at the Rumble because he wanted to do it at home in Georgia.
Then there was one more surprise. The Undertaker appeared and announced that AJ Styles will be inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame Class of 2026. He joins Stephanie McMahon in that class.
