WWE Superstar Rhea Ripley has taken to social media to hit back at fans that have body-shamed her in recent weeks and months.
The Australian has been involved in some of the biggest storylines in the WWE lately as she looks set to challenge for the women's title at WrestleMania 42 on the 18th of April.
Ripley most recently took to the stage on Friday Night SmackDown in North Carolina, where she had the chance to exchange words with reigning champion and upcoming opponent Jade Cargill.
The challenging Ripley claimed the title needed her and encouraged Cargill to land an early blow in their war of words. Cargill refused and departed the stage, only for Michin and B-Fab to walk out with fans assuming they were going to continue their beef with the champ.
In a shocking turn of events, the pair headed up to the ring to take down Ripley and create what could be a deadly trio in the build-up to WrestleMania.
Rhea Ripley Responds to Fans' Remarks on Her Physique
After taking a beating out of nowhere, Ripley has gone to social media as some fans have criticised her latest physical transformation.
Ripley called the body-shaming 'comical' and listed off the challenges she faces from a male-dominated audience.
She said: "Too manly. Too bulky. Too muscly. Too much sex appeal. Too lean/skinny.
"1. You know nothing about me and what’s going on in my life or my mental.
"2. Post a photo of yourself. You won’t."
Ripley received an abundance of positive comments in reply to her X statement, such as this fan saying: "You’re a very beautiful person both inside and out, loved by millions. I hope you know that."
Another added: "Social media has made too many people comfortable with disrespecting people and not getting punched in the mouth for it. You are perfect inside and out. Keep doing your thing. We love Mami."
Not only has 'The Eradicator' faced body-shaming, she has also been criticised for having the opportunity to challenge for the title despite winning the Women's Elimination Chamber match.
WWE legend Booker T has jumped to defend Ripley, however, stating that her stardom has earned her the opportunity for a shot at the marquee event.
Despite criticism, Ripley has a strong set of accolades to justify her place on the biggest stage.
