Ronda Rousey’s AEW debut didn’t go well with wrestling fans.

Following “Timeless” Toni Storm’s victory against Marina Shafir at AEW Revolution, MMA legend and former WWE Women’s Champion Ronda Rousey made a surprise appearance. She dared Storm to come back into the ring, and before they could get physical, security intervened and separated the two stars.

Rousey reunited with Marina Shafir after the segment and even had a brief interaction with Jon Moxley as he made his way out to the ring for his match against Konosuke Takeshita.

However, Ronda Rousey’s AEW debut has garnered negative reactions from the live crowd and the IWC.

“RONDA ROUSEY IS HERE AND IS GETTING BOOED OUT OF STAPLES,” a fan pointed out.

“NO ABSOLUTELY NOT, F*CK ROUSEY AND F*CK THIS ANGLE,” one fan posted.

“Ronda Rousey shitting on UFC lately is not gonna help Tony Khan and AEW’s case with Paramount either lol. Just saying,” another fan said.

“Rousey is a f*cking sellout, f*ck that bitch, I hope Gina breaks her jaw,” added another.

Many fans also pointed out the hypocrisy of AEW bringing Rousey in despite her past controversial comments, while WBD made AEW fire Trey Miguel for a homophobic comment that he had apologized for.

As noted by the commentary team, Ronda Rousey is set to make her MMA return against Gina Carano at the Intuit Dome on May 16.

Rousey’s appearance wasn’t the only surprise on Sunday night. Will Ospreay also returned from injury, while Adam Copeland and Christian Cage also reunited on the show.
